After two years of research, listening sessions, writing, and expert review, The Every Voice Coalition , Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education and National Organization for Victim Advocacy NOVA are excited to release the Standards for Campus-Based Advocacy Services: A Framework for Consistent, Survivor-Centered Advocacy. This resource was developed with college and university administrators in mind, with the goal of defining minimum standards and supporting institutions in providing the strongest possible advocacy services for their students.

1 in 10 students experience sexual violence during their time in college. Despite that, in 2016, AAU found that 89% of institutions in the U.S. reported zero cases of rape through federal reporting requirement, The Clery Act. We wanted to know: have things changed in the last ten years? Are universities any better at reporting? The short answer… well, you might as well flip a coin to find out.
